I’m not sure how long ago we had our first Honda generator at deer or elk camp, it must have been at least 10-12 years ago. Boy did it make a difference that year it rained all 7 days we had to hunt and was miserable. We were camping at a BLM wilderness campsite with the new pit toilets, it was maybe 40 degree’s outside in the daytime and much colder at night.
Chris had brought a new Honda generator to camp boy did we give him a him a hard time for being soft but we soon grew to love that thing. Chris hooked up camp lights and power for an electrical bathroom heater, wow a heated toilet not your ordinary elk camp. Those of you that hunt & fish know what I’m talking about that Honda generator made our camp a lot more comfortable and there’s no turning back once you realize how simple it really was to use.
Well next year we had 2 and then we all had one in our camping gear when we came to camp the following year. It seemed like we all discovered those little portable GPS units right after that, no more getting lost or spending hours looking for someone who didn’t show up where their were supposed to be picked up. Modern day power solutions have transformed our lives for the better.
